Processing of Personal Data

It is important for us to provide you with the latest options in health insurance. We have elaborated and introduced a new technology that allows on-line receipt and processing of BTA health insurance policies.

The new system ensures the following advantages:

1. Speed. When making an appointment with a doctor at a medical institution, the servicing time is reduced to a minimum, since the doctor or a reception employee can simply and quickly ascertain whether the policy covers a respective service or not;
2. Awareness. If the policy does not cover some medical institution services, the staff of the medical institution, and you as well, will receive a precise answer of why and what to do or whom to address in such cases;
3. Limit control. You will not exceed the policy limits anymore, wherewith the obligation prescribed by the terms and conditions to reimburse for the exceeded limits will not be topical and BTA will not bother you with letters requesting reimbursement for the exceeded limit (limits) anymore.

This technology is introduced in cooperation with SIA Blue Bridge Technologies (unified registration number 40003932716, address: E. Smiļģa 26, Riga LV-1002). SIA Blue Bridge Technologies is registered as a personal data processing operator with the Data State Inspectorate in compliance with the requirements of regulatory enactments of the Republic of Latvia.
BTA and SIA Blue Bridge Technologies process your personal data, including sensitive personal data and personal identification (classification) codes for insurance claim adjustment and insurance contract administration.

The data processing is conducted in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law and other effective regulatory enactments of the Republic of Latvia.
