How can you receive indemnity?

If at the moment of the accident your car was in proper technical condition and you observed all road traffic regulations, you will be able to receive indemnity calculated in accordance with the OCTA technical examination methodology of the Motor Insurers’ Bureau of Latvia, which will be paid out in cash.

The maximum period for paying out the indemnity is 10 working days.

To cover the incurred losses, BTA will turn by way of subrogation against the guilty institution regarding maintenance of a respective road stage.
