How to use the BTA health insurance policy
When paying for medical services (visit to a doctor, laboratory tests or instrumental examinations, medical procedures, etc.), acquiring medicinal products, glasses or going to the gym, insured persons must show their BTA health insurance card and a personal ID document (a passport or a driver’s licence).
When visiting contractual institutions, BTA partially or fully (in accordance with the terms and conditions of the programme) compensates the expenses for the received services; however, in some particular contractual institutions, a person must pay out of pocket and then submit a claim application together with the payment documents to BTA to receive indemnity.
We will also compensate expenses for services received at medical institutions that are not contractual institutions of BTA; however, there are some medical institutions whose services BTA does not compensate. You can find these institutions in the BTA health insurance institution search engine.
